Meet Bobbi
Board Member
Bobbi is an accountant with the Black Hills VA. As an Army veteran herself, she feels at home working with a committed organization with a strong mission
She recently moved from East River where she left a fun and exciting career as a Federal Correctional Officer. While living in Yankton she spent over 5 years as a volunteer at the Heartland Humane Society where she and her daughter walked the dogs every Friday evening.
Bobbi was active in her community, coaching Girls on the Run for six years, raised money for various nonprofits organizations in the area, and was the President of her Employees Club, organizing and running many exciting fundraisers for the families of fellow officers.
She is a native of Ohio, and much to Kelly’s chagrin (Go Bucks), is a Michigan fan (Go Blue). Bobbi spent over 10 years in Colorado prior to becoming a permanent part of South Dakota.
Bobbi now lives in Spearfish with her husband, a fellow Army veteran, her daughter Aracelli, who shares the same passion for animals and volunteering as her mother. Their four-legged family include their dog, Echo and cat, KreeMoh.
