Maybe it was poor timing, but we didn’t notice! With Rally’s official start two days before our first annual 0.5K Don’t Get Lost - Lost Cabin Beer Co. Challenge, we were not sure what to expect! Our supporters RALLIED for us! Folks came in from all other the Black Hills to compete in Rapid City’s Toughest Race! During the one hour registration period, we were able to raise $1,503 for our Pennington County Chapter - Jake’s Fund.

Jake the Dog

Jake the Dog

Jake’s Fund was named after a beloved family dog named, Jake. His family was the catalyst for our ability to add Pennington County to our coverage area in March 2021.

Thank you doesn't feel sufficient. We are so grateful to everyone who braved the bikes and came out for this first annual event at Lost Cabin Beer Co.! This event bring our total raised for the 0.5K Trifecta Series to $9,736!!

We founded on May 2, 2014; however, we did not accept our first application until May of 2015. To date, we have assisted 136 families paying out over $38K in grants to area veterinary clinics and pet crematories. In 2022, we granted $6,191 in assistance to 19 families - 4 of which were in Pennington County.

To date this year, we have already assisted 27 families, 6 of which reside in Pennington County, paying out over $8,400! We are only able to do what we do because of folks like you!

Belle Starr Received Emergency Surgery

Belle Starr is a Pennington County Grant Recipient. Her mom says, “I am most grateful to this organization for helping my beloved. I am on disability and could not afford the surgery she needed. I reached out to them and they have helped me to pay for half of the surgery cost needed.
If any of you are reading this and can donate to them out of the kindness of your heart, please do so because they can help elderly people like me on fixed income.
God bless all the people there who made this happen for us we are beyond grateful.”

We would like to thank our sponsors one more time!
